Most of the workshops are located within the artists' homes. Scraps of copper are first placed into a fire pit called a "forge" with stone and ashes. It is then heated to high temperatures. Blow by blow the piece takes shape. Some of the works may take up to several months to complete. By using a variety of tools various patterns are created on the copper.
