    Fossils have been a source of wonder and amazement for
       thousands of years. They are essentially remains of prehistoric
     organisms that have been turned to stone under natural
       conditions. Fossilization usually only occurs with the skeletal
      structure of the organism. Fossils are most commonly found in
      sedimentary rock, asphalt deposits, coal and amber.
    Fossils give us a deeper understanding into the earth and
    its history. It's a humbling experience to pick up a multi-
   million year old fossil and realize that human history is only
   a blink of the eye compared to the history of the earth.
